For over 60 years, the Safal Group has built its reputation as Africa’s market leader in its core fields of operation. The company opened its first manufacturing facility in Mombasa, Kenya, in 1962. In 2003, all operating companies were reversed into the current holding company called Safal Investments Mauritius Limited, now referred to as the Safal Group.

- 3 coil coating operations produce metal-coated and pre-painted steel coils, using a patented aluminium-zinc coating technology acknowledged worldwide for its performance and durability. The coating mills are strategically located in Mombasa, Dar es Salaam and Durban, to supply the entire East Africa and Southern Africa regions.
- Roll forming and specialist roofing operations manufacture structural products in 10 African countries producing roof sheeting under respected brand names, sold complete with specialist accessory products and light steel trusses pre-engineered buildings ready to erect on site enhance the performance of the total roofing system and provide lasting value to our customers.
