establishment in 1992, and business commencement in 1994 with branches in Ibadan, Lagos and Abuja, Cooperative Mortgage Bank Limited has consistently built relationships with customers focusing on the fundamentals of good corporate governance, risk management and leadership including other mortgage benefits.

In 2009, The Bank was acquired by new investors with a new management team which helped with rebranding and repositioning of the bank to function effectively as a specialized and vibrant mortgage bank. While in 2013, the bank was recapitalized and its share capital was increased to about #3 billion with a plan to increase it to #5 billion by June, 2016.

The Bank was awarded “The Best Mortgage Bank in Nigeria” in 2015 – by the Capital Finance International (CFI). The Bank’s brand purpose is to always put our customers, partners, and shareholders at the heart of the business while remaining Mindful, Open, Reliable, Respectful, Resilient and always keeping to our integrity as we proffer solutions to the needs of our customers.
