Be ready to at times work overtime since workload comes in season and during the government strikes when we cover larger areas of the population and we never say, enough since we are there to serve and not to be served and our clients are number one irrespective of gaps. Be ready to plan very well before you move out during your off day which is one in a a week, since the place is far from main town(Though all varieties are available at our nearby shopping centres with same prices as those from county level town-Kitale). Ging home or out every week while off might leave you with nothing or negative as the fare is high. The roads are always muddy and during rain season, fare goes even higher. If you are the type of staff who can not survive on your salary alone unless you go for lo-cums around, be prepared to count this out as this is the only service provider around. The others are very far, unless on night ffs or on leave, not weekend, evening etc locums. If you are a lazy employee, here we do not want someone who needs to be followed up why you did not do this. We are only there to support each other not to attend to laziness and unprofessional behaviours.

It is a privately owned institution. assisting the staffs employed from the institution and the surrounding the facilities. It is also liked by many populations even those coming from far communities. The staffs are always available and committed to serve the clients and patients. It is attached to some of the NGOs on the site of HIV/AIDS-AMPATH Kenya and Reproductive health/Family Planning with Marie Stopes Kenya. The Government in its stewardship position takes overrall supervision of the institution and supports EPI commodities. We also supervise ourselves through internal audits, our own supervision within for quality health care system assurance We love ourselves and we are therefore self -motivated first despite other motivations from management and other partners. Our great from the directors who are the owners of the farm and the institution plus the entire management, play a great role in our quality services delivery. This I feel proud to mention: You will always have drugs, equipment, ammenities and etc to aid in our service delivery. As the govt always strike due to the commodities gap, we always have them at hand. At times we have to admit patients beyond our capacity due to being preferred and also being the only facility around for admission and etc. We serve patents as far as from Uganda since we are near border. our free services and or very lowly billed make our clients and patients affordable too. We learn from each other and those who come from the government and other partners like AMUA, Marie stopes etc during their supportive supervisory visits. I am privileged to be part of the institution.
